Product Junkie Already!?

My Shipments are in! My JASON Shampoo and Conditioner along with a seris of essential oils by NOW FOODS are here! All from Swanson Vitamins. This website is dirt cheap! I went to my local GNC earlier this month before learning about Swanson, and my peppermint oil cost me $6.99, while Swansons was $3.49! Hey! Broke college students here! It all adds up! I plan of making a Shea butter moisture mix I learned from SheSingsLovely off youtube. Heres what I bought:

And I got a coupon of $5 off my next order which is like free shippinf off the standard $4.99 shipping.

**** My dad threw out my $5 coupon :( I'm highly upset!

Natural Who? Natural Me!

I know! I know! Another Natural Hair Blog! As if thery wasn't enough going around! … Well I am truly inspired by all of these blogs which has allowd me to build my confidence and my interest to have and take care of my natural hair texture.

Wait! How rude! I did not even introduce myself! Well my name is Fatima and I'm newly natural as of December 20th 2009! J Go me! I am a sophomore in college majoring in Finance (I Know, a Finance major talking about Hair! My other two blogs tie to it somewhat), and minor in International Business and Espanol. I am Nigerian born and I do have 'Nigerian Hair' as Lil' Wayne would say. I have 4b/c hair and it is majorly course, which is mainly why I've been relaxing until recent.

After going for my big chop, I felt no regrets, just happiness and and content-ness. As corny as that may sound. I mean While I was in the chair my mind was like 'Why didn't you just listen to your mother and transition with braids'

Yea… About that.

I tried transitioning. My last relacer was August 27th, 2009 and man did the two textures began driving me bananas as I went further post relaxer. At that time I knew all about various hair blogs like Hairlista Inc, Nu Kynks, and various Vloggers like BlackOnyx77 and BeautifulBrwnBabyDol. Shout outs to them! So I knew what to do, but fear and consistency was what plagued me which equaled in damage.

I shaved it all off because of my problem areas; my temple and left side of the back of my hair. The front is due to tight braids :( and the back is due to a bad relaxer. Hopefully as I continue through my journey I will take more care of these problem areas as well as my entire head! I welcome you all to 'Not Another Natural Hair Blog'
